- Collection consists of programs for concerts at which Gillott's music was performed such as the farewell banquet to the Earl of Hopetoun in London in 1900 or where he performed himself as a pianist. Many of these were in Australia during the lead up to Federation. There are also letters or copies of letters from Queen Victoria, Sir John Madden (Lieut.-Governor of Victoria), Marion Miller, the poet who wrote the words to Gillott's "Australia's cherished dream", and Edward Grieg, as well as an agreement from Edward A Vidler giving copyright of the words of "The Bushmen's Corps" to Gillott. There are also extracts from magazines either about Gillott or his music or which he wrote himself such as one on the Chinese in Australia.
