Chinese colour propaganda poster featuring two boats, full of apples and wheat ply the Hai River. On one of the boats PLA soldiers and armed militia help steer the boat while children play and a male peasant point forwards while holding People's Daily. In the background extensive agricultural fields, a dam and more boats stacked high with produce are shown. This poster shows the artist's signature in calligraphy and chop right margin showing the title, date of creation as "1975 spring" and the artist's partial name. Some closed tears lower edge, otherwise very good. Text in Chinese and English lower margin. Poster sheet measures 53 x 76.5cm. 天津人民美术出版社.[Tianjin ren min mei shu chu ban she]. 天津.[Tianjin]. (circa 1975). Hai River is the Chinese river connecting Beijing to Tianjin and the Bohai Sea.
