This collection comprises the papers of actor, playwright and activist Tim Conigrave. It includes correspondence, notes and notebooks, draft manuscripts including 'Holding The Man', diaries, photographs, interview transcripts, ephemera and related papers, as well as media clippings collected by Tim Conigrave's mother relating to the reception of his works.

Tim Conigrave (19 November 1959 – 18 October 1994) was an Australian actor, writer, and activist. His major work, the autobiographical Holding the Man (1995), is the story of his 15-year relationship with John Caleo.
