The Sunshine Coast Branch of the Nursery & Garden Industry held the inaugural Expo in 1985, with the aim of providing the general public with expert advice and information on a range of gardening subjects. The event has grown, and incudes exhibitions, workshops, a floral design competition and a garden clinic.
