- National Library of Australia's FRM F602 (Petherick) copy half bound in green leather has all marbled edges and endpapers; includes an additional portrait and facsimile authograph copy of Flinders' signed parole release from his six years imprisonment on Mauritius.
- National Library of Australia has four complete sets. Three 1814 sets at: Robinson 387; NK 659 (texts) & MAP RaA 3 (atlas); N F576 texts & atlas. One set is 1814/1829 at: FRM F576 texts (N1 copy) & atlas MAP RaA 4 (atlas, 1829).
- National Library of Australia's Robinson 387 set is best and complete; volumes 1-2 in full leather with gilt decorations, all marbled edges and endpapers; bears the armorial bookplate of W.S. Robinson.
- National Library of Australia's NK 3341 set half bound with gilt toolding, marbled boards and endpapers; bears the bookplate of Rex de C. Nan Kivell (no. 1814/15); round binder's ticket which reads "Bound by J. Robinson, Bookseller, Whytehaven" inside front cover. John Robinson appears to have been in business in Whitehaven, Cumbria, publishing books between 1821 and 1839, and going into bankruptcy in 1834.
- National Library of Australia's NK 4062 set half bound with marbled boards; bear the bookplate of Rex de C. Nan Kivell (no. 1814/16).
- National Library of Australia's NK 659 set in full green cloth boards with paper labels to spines, housed in custom made blue, Bayntun Riviere boxes with false spines; volume 1 has a manuscript note with biographical details of Flinders pasted inside the front cover; both volumes bear the book label of 'Thomas Scott, Earlston' (no. 1234) inside the front covers; boxes carry the bookplate of Rex de C. Nan Kivell (no. 1814/13).
- National Library of Australia's FRM F602 (Petherick) copy half bound in blue-green leather has gilt top edge and marbled endpapers.
- One of Library's copies of Atlas (NL,965), was made up in 1829 or later. Plates 2 and 7 revised to 1822 and 1826 respectively; plate 1 replaced by corresponding Admiralty chart of 1829; plates 11 and 13 replaced by Admiralty charts of 1824. Plates 1-7, 10-11, 13-18 bear Admiralty imprint. (Shelved with Maps at RaA4).
