Autobiography of J.F Plunkett, 1893. Describes his life from birth in 1831 until 1854. Describes his family history ; schooling ; employment as clerk, teacher and cleric ; voyage to Port Phillip on British Isles ; arrival at Port Phillip, 1853 ; Bendigo and the gold diggings ; and return to Melbourne. At the back of the volume is a letter from Charles Plunkett, 1926 to Rev. Father Sandy , Oscott College re life of J.F. Plunkett ; three poems, one dated 1874-75 and an aide de mimoire re events at diggings.
