The print depicts a couple in Western cloth standing side by side and gazing each other. The man is with a pipe in his mouth, a hat on his head, holding an umbrella and a cane. The woman wears a hat made with feathers. The list of words on top is titled, 'Savage language translated into Japanese', listing 16 Japanese words and the reading of English words equivalent, in Hiragana.
