Unpublished autobiography of Peter Brokensha, b. 1926. Details his experiences of university left wing politics in the 1940s, corporate life in the oil industry in the 1950s and 1960s, setting up one of Australia's first arts and crafts centres in Sydney in the 1970s, and living with the Pitjantjatjara Aboriginal people in the Western Desert of northern South Australia as an anthropologist in the late 1970s. Includes Brokensha family history, 1609-1943 and family trees for the Robertson and Macleod ancestors, 1783-1948, and the Brokensha ancestors, 1609-1943.
