"200 unsung heroes and heroines" (also titled "The 200 greatest stories never told") was a project established by the Australian Bicentennial Authority. It was run concurrently with Heritage 200'. Entrants submitted short stories of 200-250 words and other background documentation. A short list of 200 stories was selected and appeared in "Unsung heroes and heroines of Australia" published by Greenhouse/ACP in Oct. 1988.
