The first Australian Scout Jamboree was held in Frankston, Victoria from December 1934 to January 1935 and images from this event include scouts from New South Wales travelling by train to Victoria; Lord Baden-Powell, who officiated at the event; parades and scouting activities; camp sites and general scenes of camp life; the scout shop; Frankston Beach and the Victory Arch at Ballarat.
The Scout Centenary Corroboree was held in Belair, near Adelaide, South Australia from December 1936 to January 1937 and images from this event include scouts from New South Wales travelling by sea and by train to South Australia; Sir Percy Everett; parades and scouting activities; camp sites and general scenes of camp life; the scout shop; and visits to Adelaide and Glenelg.
