- Biography/History:
-
Paste-ups (or street poster art) are graphic images and words produced using the traditional poster format. Usually on thin paper and pasted up with adhesive, they are difficult to tear or remove. They are created away from the display area, which enables the artist to concentrate on form and content. Artists are being commissioned to complete artwork for CD covers, political flyers and TV advertisements, suggesting that this form of graffiti is becoming more widely accepted.
