The purpose of this policy is to provide an outline of the mandatory requirements for health services to meet in order to be assessed and accredited against the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards, in compliance with the Australian and Quality Health Service Accreditation (AHSSQA) Scheme and any other applicable standards. This is a new policy, which applies to all SA Health portfolios, all Department for Health and Ageing Divisions, all Health Networks and CALHN, SALHN, NALHN, WCHN, CHSALHN and SAAS.
