The Swansea Water Project is an $8.5 million project resulting from an agreement between the State Government of Tasmania, Glamorgan Spring Bay Council (GSBC) and Hobart Water to provide Swansea with high quality drinking water by late 2009. During 2009 the project was transferred to Southern Water.
