Personalities in the Classroom is a resource guide which explores personality types in young people. It has been designed with educators and youth workers in mind. It gives readers and practitioners tips and insights into how best to re-direct unwanted behaviour in the classroom and effectively engages young people in order to assist them achieve life skills, build resilience and become better prepared for the world of work. This resource guide is based on the personality profiling concept called LIFEWORX4ME series of workshops, which focus upon assisting young people to understand self and others more effectively. These workshops help young people make sense of how and why they may act and behave in a certain way and supports young people to make sense of, and navigate, the world around them. LIFEWORX4ME workshops focus on helping young people achieve better relationships, and to reach desired goals. Within the pages of Personalities in the Classroom are insights into the four personality types as identified throughout the centuries, how to identify the types in your classroom and engage them more effectively, how to run a LIFEWORX4ME initial workshop, possible careers to consider per type, and important considerations when working with types.
