Many times people suggested that Anna Penney write a book about her extensive family travels. The Borg family were originally from Malta, starting with her great grandfather Paul and his wife Josephina or Guisepina. In the 1880s, they emigrated to Constantinople from Malta, a Christian country, to a country under the rule of the Ottoman Turks. After the start of WWII in 1941 the Borg family were evacuated from Constantinople to countries that belonged to the British Empire at the time. Visiting Haifa in Israel, then Gezyra in Egypt with the proposed destination to India, then on to England and finally Australia. This family genealogy book covers all of these interesting journeys, stories and relevant history.
