Through a diverse set of interviews with the Norfolk Island Community, oral histories provide rich documentation on the history of Norfolk Island. Interviewees represent a cross section of the population including different ages, genders, temporary entrants, newer arrivals and residents who trace their family history on the Island back over many generations to the arrival of Pitcairn Islanders. These oral histories will provide rich documentation the social, cultural and economic life of the Island and its inhabitants
