Molloy, orphan and British child migrant, speaks of her birth in England to an unmarried Irishwoman working in Britain, how she was sent to a convent and later to an orphanage, recalls the stories told to her by her mother when they were finally united in 1999, her treatment while in the orphanage, her mother's attempt to see her, and the influence of the Church, her voyage to Australia, her treatment in Australian institutions, her lack of sexual education and sheltered life, the search for her parents, the lack of information until the final meeting with her mother in Ireland through the American 60 Minutes TV program.
