- Summary:
-
In 2015, artists Tim Burke, Tony Steele and Tilly Davey conceived a community art project - De Fence. The vision was a large, outdoor, timber sculpture that incorporated the voices and visions of a community of artists living with mental illness. They hoped, together with the participants, to create a visual expression of recovery journies, incorporating images inspired by their past, present and future.
