This consignment comprises both audio and video interviews with Robert Mark, undertaken in 2014, about his experiences as a post WWII refugee and migrant to Australia.
- Biography/History:

Robert Bozidar Mark (1927-2020) migrated to Australia from France in 1951, having fought as a Yugoslav partisan against Germany. After being interned in Sachsenhausen camp outside Berlin, Robert survived nearly three years until the end of the war. He was demobilised in Trieste, Italy, with other allied troops then lived in Paris as a temporary resident until migrating to Australia. Upon arrival in Australia, he lived for two years in Bonegilla migrant camp and married Kyra Macready, a refugee from Russia. Robert Mark lived in Mt Beauty and worked on the Kiewa Valley Power scheme. In 1957 their daughter was born and the Mark family moved to Cooma to work on the Snowy Mountains Hydro Power scheme.
