- Book I [volume 1] includes "A catalogue of books sold by John Cullen at the Buck between the two temple-gates, Fleet-street"--Page following page vi with table of songs on the verson; volume 2 includes "Books lately printed, and re-printed, for Henry Playford, at his shop in the Temple-Change Fleet-street" following page ii with table of songs on the verso.
- Book II [volume 2], "the second book, which renders the first compleat" has separate title page in red and black within double ruled border and was published London: Printed by William Pearson, for Henry Playford, 1702.
- Includes elegies on Purcell by Dryden, N. Tate, H. Hall and others.
- Library's copy bears the ownership signature of John Gascoyne on the title-page of Book I and on the last page of Book II. The copy also bears the ownership signature of the Marmaduke Overend organist of Isleworth on the title-page of Book I with date 1750.
