An abridged version of the story of the Wheatley family of Mission Beach. The Wheatleys are among the district's most remarkable and generous early families. Don Wheatley and his wife Nancy, who died in 2017 after a 65-year partnership with Don, contributed immensely to the community of Mission Beach. Their story is created from memoirs written by Don and Peter Wheatley, Nancy Wheatley and her mother Rita Mitchell.
