- Summary:
-
"Reverend Richardson Reid was an influential figure in the early days of South Australia. He was one of the earliest pupils to attend St Peter's College in 1849, back when the School was still operating out of a tiny room behind the Holy Trinity Church. In addition to his academic and athletic prowess, Richardson was also the School's sole divinity student at this time -- a passion that eventually led to him becoming ordained in 1858." -- Provided by publisher.
