- Summary:
-
Exploring the issue of measuring changes in per capita wealth, factoring in both growth in total assets (as measured by genuine saving) and population growth, as more comprehensive indicators of sustainability. Using a theoretical approach to estimating total wealth, a cross-country estimate of change in per capita wealth can be made and conclusions as to real economic growth can be made.
