Content Summary:

Material in the Australian performing arts programs and ephemera (PROMPT) collection consists of programs and related items of the Miranda Musical Society including program of Side by side by Sondheim.

Miranda Musical Society is a community non profit organisation, well renowned in the Sutherland Shire and throughout Sydney. The Society was formed in October 1967 with the intention of presenting musicals suited to the existing members, whilst encouraging new members to join. The Society is managed by a committee elected by members each year at a general meeting. The multi talented members contribute to all facets of stage productions, both on and off stage. In December 2022, it was decided by the Management Committee and general members to formally change the name to Miranda Musical Theatre Company, to reach a wider audience and engage with a new generation of music theatre performers and creatives.

The list is based on imperfect holdings and is updated over time as gaps in the Library's holdings are filled.
