Content Summary:

Annotated Australian Academy of Science envelope enclosing seven copies of "Observations on fish mortality and river pollution" by A.B. Costin, 1954 from the journal Ecology, and a newspaper clipping "Riddle by the riverside", the Weekend Australian. Extensive annotations read (in part) "Rozanne Walker" and "Bogle-Chandler".

Annotated white New South Wales Department of Environment and Climate Change envelope. Annotation (in part) reads "Ken Green: Publications (incomplete list)". Envelope originally enclosed the remaining contents of this file.

Documents including handbill "Sydney Harbour recreational fishing and dioxin contamination" handbill by the New South Wales Department of Primary Industries; One handwritten letter to Alec Costin from "Cyril"; Annotated website printouts regarding the Bogle-Chandler case. Bundle enclosed in large buff envelope sent from Cyril Appleby to Alec Costin.

Pages of various documents including pages from Alec Costin's curriculum vitae (annotated) and lists of publications by Alec Costin. Also includes covering note (sender's name illegible) from Department of Primary Industry.

This large and diverse collection was compiled by Alec Costin then organised and catalogued by the eScholarship Research Centre at The University of Melbourne from 2017-2019. The collection was then transferred to the National Library of Australia in 2020.
