This Series can be divided into six sections: 1. Description and Succession Books: Books relating to the New South Wales Corps have been copied in full. They are arranged alphabetically, containing such information as each man's description, age, rank, date of enlistment, service, and trade. 2. Returns of Officers Services:These are returns made by serving officers, again alphabetically arranged, containing name, age, place of birth, date of marriage, names of wife and children. 3. Service Returns No. 1:This contains a statement of the periods of service of all noncommissioned officers and men of the New South Wales Regiments who were liable for service on the 24th June 1806. 4. Muster Master General's Index of Casualties, etc.:This is an entry book for the 102nd Foot, or New South Wales Corps, arranged alphabetically giving the date and nature of each casualty. 5. Casualty Returns. These are monthly and quarterly returns for the 102nd Foot and the New South Wales Veteran Company. Information includes name, rank, place of birth, trade before enlistment, date, place and nature of each casualty, etc. 6. Embarkation and Disembarkation Returns:These are arranged chronologically, giving the name of each ship, and a list of men embarked.
