The collection documents the activities of the Wills family, who were pastoralists from the early 1800s, in New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland and includes: letters; personal and financial documents; diaries; maps; photographs; realia; manuscript and typescript notes;Register of deaths of the Cullin-la-ringo massacre, also referred to as the Wills Tragedy; writings, publications, research material and a family tree of Edward Wills. Much of theis material relates to the life and times of Horatio Spencer Howe Wills (1811-1861), pastoralist and politician, and his son Thomas Wentworth Wills (1835-1880), footballer and cricketer, who played a significant role in the development and establishment of Australian Rules Football.

Correspondence, 1982-1986; newscuttings, 1982-1990; publicity material; television and radio transcripts, 1984-1985; magazine articles, 1984-1991; and other printed material relating to the campaign in support of Lindy Chamberlain in the investigations following the death of her daughter Azaria. The collection also includes nine audio cassettes with recordings of church service, rallys and meetings relating to the Chamberlain Case, two cassettes released by the Plea for Justice Committee, a cassette tape of an interview with Betty Hocking by Alan Williams (1988) and a video (VHS) of an interview with Michael Chamberlain (1984).

The papers are a record of the early years of the RAAF and the role played by Sir Richard Williams. There are reports (Ellington and Salmon Reports of 1939 and 1928), correspondence with Air Force personnel and H.V.E. Evatt, then the High Court Judge. The papers include press clippings regarding World War II and defence issues and Sir Richard's career in the Air Force. There are also records concerning Sir Richard's O.B.E. award, his speeches, personal correspondence and printed material concerning aeronautics.

Collection of images documenting Blacktown City Council's Diwali Lights Competition in Nirimba Fields, Blacktown, New South Wales. Images show families posing in front of their homes, decorated with lights and Rangoli artworks, often taking the form of a lotus flower. The annual competition sees residents decorate their homes, lighting up streets with imagery and floral arrangements. $2,500 in cash prizes is offered each year for the best decorated properties across Blacktown City's 5 Wards. 'Best Street' acknowledges neighbours who come together in the spirit of Diwali to create a festive and culture-filled atmosphere in the street they each call home. Each year the street that successfully takes out this title receives a sign erected acknowledging them as the winner of 'Best Street Blacktown City Diwali Lights Competition 2024'.

Founded on the 26th January 1972, 2022 marks the 50th anniversary of the Aboriginal Tent Embassy, one of the world's longest continuing protest sites. This collection captures some of the activities to mark the 50 year anniversary, including an Invasion Day rally, performances and displays at the site. Some images feature Euahlayi Elder Ghillar Michael Anderson, the last surviving member of the group of four men who established the embassy on the lawns of Old Parliament House.

This collection comprises anuscripts, proofs, correspondence, notes and photographs relating to Williams' biography of Christina Stead and her later publication, Fathers sons. The addition of MS Acc11.045 comprises correspondence and other papers of Christina Stead collected by Christine Williams during and after the writing of her biography of Stead. They include: a card sent to John A. Dillaway; a letter of thanks from lawyer LL Davies about the Oombulgurri Defence campaign; a letter from Tella Freeman, to Christine Williams written after the publication of the biography; three pages of notes on Chomsky and Chartism; and royalty statements and other financial records. The latest consignment, MS Acc23.117 comprises correspondence written by Elizabeth Harrower to Christine Williams. The collection includes 49 dated, and 19 undated letters, with one letter and one printed email written from Christine Williams to Elizabeth Harrower.

Kirby manuscripts: letter 1880 from J. Barrett, Waimate, New Zealand, describing life in New Zealand; printed catalogue c.1905 (16 p.) of a historical exhibition aboard a ship reputed to be the Success. The catalogue contains lengthy notes about individual convicts and settlers associated with the Success, especially during its days as a prison hulk.
