This collection comprises original illustrations and preparatory sketches of costumes, props, wigs and set designs for various productions, including "Les Miserables" , "Rigoletto", "The Barber of Seville", "Phantom of the Opera", Cinderella", "Romeo and Juliet", "Hamlet" and many others. It also includes several programmes, production and consultancy notes, press clippings, reviews, original production photographs, audiovisual carriers and floorplans.

Abstract Or Scope
This collection includes papers relating to the personal and academic life of Emeritus Professor of Musicology Allan Marett and include: correspondence; reviews; interviews; journalism; lecture notes; concert programs involving Marett as consultant, author, performer and scholar; newspaper and magazine cuttings; records relating to radio programs and interviews including four programs on Aboriginal music for 2MBS and six programs on Japanese music for the ABC; drafts, reviews, correspondence and texts of the plays Eliza and Oppenheimer; correspondence regarding prizes and appointments; invitations and personal family documents including those relating to the musical life of Marett's parents. Also included are records resulting from two ARC projects on the 13th Century Japanese flute score Chû Ôga Ryûteki Yôroku-fu in the Gagaku tradition (Japanese Imperial Court Music and Dance), comprising a copy of the original tablature score, transcriptions of all pieces and an analysis of the structure of these pieces.

The papers of Allan Martin fall into two groups: personal papers, mostly dating from the period 1975-2000, and research materials and indexes that he compiled while writing the biography of Robert Menzies. The personal papers comprise correspondence, notes, drafts of articles, reviews and photographs. Among the correspondents are Manning Clark, John Hirst, Ken Inglis, Peter Ryan and Geoffrey Serle. The research materials comprise copies of personal and official papers, parliamentary debates, newspaper articles, journal articles and other sources on the life of Menzies, together with extensive card indexes.

The collection comprises of material relating to both the Frankovits Family and the personal and professional life of Andre Frankovits.The Frankovits Family component includes correspondence, papers and travel documents in Hungarian, French, German and English as well as analogue and digital photographs; The Andre Frankovits component documents his childhood, youth and education, his involvement with Sydney's Push, and his career in international human rights and includes correspondence from family, friends, peers, professional colleagues, conference papers, reports, diaries, publications, speeches, posters, audio and video recordings,photographs and press cuttings, . Included in the Andre Frankovits component are journal articles, manuscripts of essays, reviews, seminar papers and book proposals of Frankovits' wife, Meaghan Morris.

The collection represents a considerable part of Paterson's work and life. There is a large group of his writings in the form of manuscript and typescript drafts of verse, prose, articles and radio plays. Some drafts are fully formed, while others are notes jotted down in journals and diaries. There are papers and photographs relating to Paterson's military service in both the Boer War and World War 1, family correspondence and photographs, newspaper cuttings, ephemera, scrapbooks, and memorabilia.

The photographs, largely uncaptioned, include images of Papunya Tula artists and their work. Correspondents include Charles Duguid, Malcolm Fraser and Edward de Bono.

The Fisher Papers include correspondence on family and official matters, departmental minutes and administrative papers, press cuttings, photographs, personal documents, and books and pamphlets. Much of this material document Fisher's political career, especially his terms as Australia's Prime Minister (1908-1909, 1910-1913, 1914-1915), and his work as High Commissioner in London (1915-1921). The correspondents include George Ryland, Matthew Reid, W. Demaine, J. C. Watson, Frank Tudor, D. C. McGrath, James Page, Albert Gardiner, W. G. Higgs, Josiah Thomas, Sir George Pearce, Keith A. Murdoch, W.M. Hughes, Sir George Reid, Colonel Anderson and General Birdwood.
