Kathleen "Faye" Lynam, born 1950, near Shepparton, Vic. Lynam was raised by her father until the age of 8 when an informal fostering arrangement was made with a white family at Hearns Oak, near Yallourn, Vic. She outlines the arrangements that were made so that she and her siblings were not placed in an institution. Lynam describes life with her foster parents and the chance meeting with her brother, which led to a reunion with her father. She also talks about her working life, the effect of child removal on herself and other removed children, and about the 32 children she has fostered.
