Lucy Dann is an Aboriginal education worker in Broome, W.A. She speaks about her Aboriginal upbringing, but how in her adulthood she comes to the realisation that her real father is a Japanese man who worked on pearl riggers (ie boats) in Broome. Dann talks about how in 2000 she set out to meet her Japanese father for the first time in Japan and her multi-ethnic cultural identity.
