Kevin Bryant one of 10 children speaks about his father's background; moving into farming; the farm at Monteagle; farming succession within his family; the drought; buying family farm with his brother; the need for more land; working on the property; the mid 1960's to mid 1970's; payment for labourers; depression associated with farming; understanding of the demands of farm life; drought assistance availability; community life; water issues for the animals; the Red Cross.

Kevin Bryant was born 1939 and Judy Bryant was born 1946 in Griffith, N.S.W. They are both successful farmers from the Greenthorpe area of New South Wales.
