"...in June 1949, [Atlas Publications] asked Keith Chatto to submit a character for publication. Chatto responded with The Lone Wolf, a western outlaw who often masquerades as 'The Night Rider' in righting wrongs and who is continuously dogged by Marshall Mack. It was this series that showed Chatto's potential as a writer as well as an artist. The Lone Wolf was to run for six years with some of the latter stories being drawn by Horak" -- Ryan, John.
