Ralph Norman, born 1932 (?), Flaggy Creek near Cooktown, Qld. Norman speaks about his early childhood around Cooktown, Qld. During World War II, he was evacuated to Palm Island but his parents were sent to Thursday Island after they were diagnosed with tuberculosis. He describes the harsh living conditions in the dormitories on Palm Island. He also discusses his working life.
