Folkloric recording. David Cockburn, a primary producer, was born at Redcliff, Qld. in 1966. He recalls his family background; his education; the family farm; his community involvement with the Rural Youth and Uniting Church; being involved with the One Nation party since late 1997; his unsuccessful campaign for the state seat of Oakley. He speaks of his former role in the One Nation party; One Nation party policies; the development of the party; personalities within the party; the effect politics has had on his life; his admiration for Sir Joe Bjelke Petersen. Cockburn talks about the direction he is taking with a new party, The City-Country Alliance and gives his views on politics in general.
