Boult discusses her early life; coming to Australia; changes in culture in Australia; the influence of music in her family; her early days in, and her passion for the theatre; her introduction to theatre and her influences; her progression to university; the feminist movement; anti Vietnam War rallies; and the importance of this era; her introduction to the folk scene; learning various instruments and songs; her continuing involvement with youth theatre; mentions plays and other pieces she has written. Several songs and music are performed on the concertina, and she recites a poem.
