Quayle speaks about being removed at the age of 4 with her three younger brothers. She was taken to Glebe Depot, N.S.W. before being fostered by a family at Gosford. At the age of 8, she was sent to Bidura House and then to Mittagong Girls' Home. She was fostered for a time by a family in Arncliffe before being placed at the Good Samaritan Hostel, Arncliffe. Quayle speaks about being reunited with her father and brothers, and about her work with the Aboriginal community.
