Judith Leong, born Judith Jue Sue, was born into a prominent Atherton family who ran the Jue Sue Company for over 50 years in Atherton, and her mother, Why Cheong Jue Sue, was well-known business woman in Townsville. She was an outstanding accounting student and admitted as an associate of the Australian Society of Accountants in 1963, and has undertaken the accounting for her husband's medical practice and the family properties.
