Ejai, a school language worker, was born at Derby, W.A., but the family soon moved to the Sunday Island Mission so she and her older siblings could be educated. She describes living conditions at the Mission, and talks about the removal of children from the Mission. She expresses her views on the effect of separation on the families of these children. Her own family is still searching for a family member who was taken.
