Leo Donahue, born in 1935 and his wife Hilda born in 1940 talk about their early lives and music; Leo's father's background, his father playing the accordion for 75 years; coming from a family of melodeon players; some general information on tunes; dances danced in the valley; the size of the sets/squares being dependent of the size of the hall; Hilda talks about her introduction to country music; listening to Buddy Williams; dancing in her youth; dancing the rock 'n' roll; dance competitions; writing songs, recollecting her childhood; how Windmill Hill Hall was the predominant place of dancing; Leo recalls information on the old farm on which he lived was the basis for writing a song.
