Students attending the National Union of Australian University Students Largs Bay Conference, January 1951 waited on the Sturt highway outside Euston, N.S.W. for a lift to Melbourne. Parts of the Highway were so isolated that while waiting many hours for a lift the students played cricket on the road.--Information supplied by photographer.
