- Content Summary:
- This collection comprises volumes of poetry, note and recipe books, correspondence to and from Chris Woodland and music. Also various archived and miscellaneous material from the Wild Colonial Days Society (WCDS). There are issues of some WCDS N.S.W. branch journals (August 1967 - August 1968) and the 'Fossiker' March - August 1968). Papers include correspondence (bound), an address book, questionnaire and membership forms, the society's revised constitution, a members re-enactment report and note books with the handwritten meeting minutes. Newspaper clippings (some photocopied), photographs and ephemera highlight the society's activities, centenary events and historical re-enactments of The Capture of the Clarke Brothers, The Cobb and Co. run, The Shooting of Johnny Gilbert, The Bargo Bush murder, the Ben Hall gang and the shooting of Constable Nelson. The are numerous tickets and programmes to balls, dances and concerts with flyers, a felt banner and a typed film scripts with one titled 'HMS The Branch of justice'.
